It has been about 12 days since I've been home, and I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday when my French host family picked me up from the airport. I will never forget that moment; I was so nervous, but I had no reason to be. They would end up being the best host family I could ask for, and great friends. I will never forget how lovely they were and what great, fun times I shared with them.
In fact, I don't think I will ever forget July of 2012. It was a fantastic month in which I learned a lot about myself and got new perspective. My goal to improve my French and become more comfortable with the language was definitely achieved. My passion for French remains, but I am now interested in pursuing new languages because I love to travel!
Taking advantage of this opportunity to study abroad in the south of France with Abbey Road Programs was the smartest decision. I am so glad I decided to take this huge risk- it was such a success!
